About the Role
We are looking for a Senior UX Researcher to join our team at Stay22. This role focuses on establishing and scaling user research practices across all product teams, enabling high-quality, autonomous discovery, and leading strategic research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- βBuild and own the UX research practice at Stay22, including standards, processes, methodologies, and tooling
- βEnable PM & Design led discovery by reviewing research plans, supporting methodology choices, providing templates and playbooks, and coaching teams
- βAct as a quality bar for research across the organization, ensuring rigor, consistency, and actionable outcomes
- βLead hands-on discovery research for high-risk, high-ambiguity, or strategic initiatives
- βSynthesize research across squads to identify cross-team insights, patterns, and opportunities
- βOwn and evolve foundational artifacts such as personas and journey maps
- βMaintain a centralized research repository to ensure insights are accessible and inform decision-making
- βPartner closely with Product, Design, Data, and Leadership to influence both product execution and strategic direction
- βChampion continuous discovery and a mixed-methods approach
Requirements
- β5+ years of experience in UX Research, ideally in B2B, multi-product, and scale-up environments
- βStrong experience with mixed-methods research and the ability to choose the right method for the problem
- βProven ability to enable non-researchers to conduct research while maintaining high quality standards
- βExperience conducting strategic discovery research beyond feature validation
- βStrong synthesis and communication skills
- βComfort operating in ambiguity, with a pragmatic and impact-driven mindset
- βCollaborative, service-oriented approach with the confidence to challenge assumptions when needed
