About the Role
We are looking for an Account Executive to join Stripe's Startups team in the Greater China Region. This role involves creating partnerships between Stripe and innovative startups by helping them understand how Stripe's financial infrastructure can support their growth.
Key Responsibilities
- →Identify high-potential prospective startups from inbound leads and outbound prospecting
- →Own, develop and implement full sales cycle strategies for driving product adoption and net new product sales for startups
- →Represent Stripe in the local startup ecosystem and help grow our footprint
- →Work with investment partnership team on portfolio analyses and founder-focused gatherings
- →Collaborate with other go-to-market teams on shared initiatives
- →Solve complex client needs by working across product, sales, risk, and operations teams
- →Generate leads through cold calling, research, networking, and driving your territory
- →Ensure every potential Stripe user has a positive interaction
- →Identify users' pain points to propose Stripe solutions
- →Coordinate with internal teams like Solution architects, SDRs, Marketing, and Product
Requirements
- ✓3+ years experience in a customer-facing, revenue-related role, preferably at a high-growth SaaS company, bank, consultancy, or venture capital firm
- ✓Track record of exceeding sales targets
- ✓Expertise in building territory plans to identify high payoff activities
- ✓Ability to understand different business models and build relationships with technical founders
- ✓Ability to understand complex technical ecosystems and build relationships with technical customers
- ✓Analytical ability to manage complex sales cycles
- ✓Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities
- ✓Experience managing projects with input from cross-functional teams
- ✓Passion for the startup ecosystem
- ✓Superior verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin
