About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join Stripe's Infrastructure team. This role involves building software services and platforms that impact thousands of employees and millions of Stripe users.
Key Responsibilities
- βBuild a great customer experience for internal and external Stripe teams using our infrastructure
- βParticipate in roadmap planning and prioritization
- βDeliver value through a strong collaborative approach with multiple customers and stakeholders across Stripe
- βDebug production issues across services and several levels of the stack
Requirements
- β4-12+ years of industry software engineering experience
- βAbility to write well-factored algorithms and have experience with commonly used data structures and algorithms
- βHands-on experience contributing to or building large scale distributed systems
- βStrong coding skills in any programming language
- βStrong collaboration skills, can work across workstreams within your team and contribute to your peersβ success
- βHave the ability to thrive on a high level of autonomy, responsibility, and think of yourself as entrepreneurial
- βInterest in working as a generalist across varying technologies and stacks to solve problems and delight both internal and external users
