About the Role
We are looking for a Data Engineer to build the data foundation that powers Stuut's intelligence layer. This foundational role will involve transforming raw financial data into actionable insights to help customers with accounts receivable.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and own data infrastructure from the ground up
- →Design pipelines that ingest, transform, and model data from various sources
- →Partner with product and engineering teams to ensure data quality
- →Create analytics foundations for payment patterns and collection trends
- →Implement DataOps best practices
- →Collaborate with leadership to define KPIs and build dashboards
- →Scale the data platform as the company grows
Requirements
- ✓3+ years of hands-on experience building production data pipelines using Python
- ✓Strong SQL skills and experience with modern data warehouses
- ✓Experience with ETL/ELT workflows using tools like Airflow or dbt
- ✓Understanding of data modeling fundamentals
- ✓Experience working with messy, real-world data
- ✓Ability to thrive in ambiguity and build new systems
- ✓Strong focus on data quality
- ✓Experience in fintech, B2B SaaS, or financial data is a plus
