About the team
SumUp's Finance organisation is the backbone of how we operate at scale, managing the systems, processes, and data integrity that keep everything running across Accounting, Treasury, and Controlling. This role sits at the heart of that engine, supporting the automation solutions and process improvement initiatives that free up our finance teams to focus on what truly matters. What you'll do
β’ Maintain and enhance VBA macros and Google Apps Scripts used across Finance teams, keeping automation tools stable as data sources and processes evolve
β’ Support SAP administration tasks including vendor master data creation, daily FX rate input, and period opening and closing processes
β’ Contribute to the ongoing development of the ZIP procurement platform, supporting testing, workflow improvements, and user adoption
β’ Prepare analytical reports based on SAP accounting entries and support reconciliation of accounting data with external sources
β’ Help maintain and organise process documentation, desktop procedures, and process maps to ensure clear version control across the team

β’ Advanced proficiency in Excel, including PivotTables, complex functions, and VBA macros
β’ Fluency in English, both written and verbal, to collaborate across global finance teams
β’ Strong organisational skills with a proactive attitude and genuine openness to feedback
β’ Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can shift and ambiguity is part of the job
β’ Experience or coursework in automation, process improvement, or finance tools is a strong plus
