About the Role
The KYC & Regulatory Operations team at SumUp is responsible for welcoming merchants and validating the information they provide through our website. This ensures that merchants are only transacting what they have declared and that we fully understand their business.
Key Responsibilities
- →Respond to cases with documentation and analyze whether the registration matches the information submitted to determine if account approval is possible
- →Contact merchants via phone or WhatsApp to address doubts, resolve delays, or gather additional business information
- →Assist other departments with questions about the onboarding process, including Customer Support, Social Media, Sales Representatives, SMB Concierge, Risk and Fraud, AML & Compliance
- →Support other Onboarding and Customer Support teams when needed
Requirements
- ✓Minimum 6 months proven experience in the field
- ✓High school diploma, technical degree, or university degree
- ✓Availability to work 44 hours per week
- ✓Excellent oral and written communication skills
- ✓Clarity in written and verbal explanations
- ✓Investigative and detail-oriented approach
- ✓Analytical thinking and critical sense
- ✓Time management skills
- ✓Proactivity in your deliverables
- ✓Strong ability to receive and apply feedback from peers and leadership
- ✓Proactive problem-solving for daily challenges
