As an Onboarding Agent, you will facilitate the verification process for our clients - small to medium European businesses. At the same time, the Onboarding team ensures that SumUp follows the highest compliance standards and is compliant with all applicable AML regulations.
In this role, you will provide support to our clients exclusively through non-voice communication (no phone) during daytime flexible hours.
What you'll do:
β’ Review and process verification cases for new and existing merchants, ensuring their onboarding is completed accurately and on time
β’ Work towards daily case targets, contributing to team performance and reducing backlogs for the Bulgarian market
β’ Learn and apply SumUp's onboarding processes and internal tools with support from senior agents and quality assurance colleagues
β’ Collaborate closely with Team Leads and Group Leads to escalate complex cases and continuously improve your knowledge
Youβll be great for this role if:
β’ Fluency in Spanish/Portuguese & English, written and spoken, to a high standard
β’ Experience in a customer support, KYC, or compliance environment is a plus, though not essential
β’ Comfortable navigating digital tools and working with databases on a day-to-day basis
β’ Enthusiastic about learning new processes and adaptable when things change
β’ Strong attention to detail and a dedicated, can-do approach to getting things done
