Talent Acquisition Partner
Sofia
Meet our Sofia team π₯
Team description
SumUp's Global Talent Acquisition team is at an exciting point in its journey β supporting a high-growth fintech business as it scales. As part of the Business hiring chapter, you'll own end-to-end recruitment for Business functions in Bulgaria, partnering closely with the wider TA team to bring global hiring standards and best practices to the local market. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact β building trusted relationships with Business leaders, shaping how we hire in Sofia, and contributing to a TA team that's raising the bar on quality, structure, and candidate experience across Europe.
What you'll do
β’ Own the full recruitment cycle for Business roles with a primary focus on Finance
β’ Run intake meetings, define clear success profiles, and build structured interview plans and scorecards for each hire
β’ Develop targeted, multi-channel sourcing strategies and actively manage pipelines across multiple roles simultaneously
β’ Track funnel metrics, lead weekly hiring reviews with stakeholders, and identify bottlenecks before they slow things down
β’ Partner with Employer Branding to sharpen candidate experience and improve top-of-funnel conversion
What weβre looking for
β’ End-to-end recruiting experience across Business functions such as Finance, GRC, or People, ideally within a scale-up or high-growth environment.
β’ Strong ability to design and implement structured hiring processes, including scorecards, calibration sessions, and debrief facilitation.
β’ Comfort working with funnel data to track pass-through rates, time-in-stage, and offer acceptance, and using those insights to improve outcomes.
β’ Deep knowledge of the Bulgarian talent market, with the ability to navigate local hiring challenges while upholding global quality standards β translating best practices into local context without compromising the bar.
β’ Proven stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering across functions and locations, adapting global hiring frameworks to local nuances, and keeping leaders informed and accountable throughout the process.
β’ Fluency in English, with additional language skills in French, Italian, German, or Spanish is considered a strong advantage.
