About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer, Robot Behaviors to join Sunday, a company developing personal robots to automate repetitive tasks. This role involves building high-level decision-making systems that enable robots to work safely among humans.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop high-level logic and decision-making frameworks for robot autonomy
- →Partner with Product and Design teams to create systems for natural human interaction
- →Build frameworks that connect expressive character motion with physical hardware execution
- →Drive platform development toward in-home Beta deployments
Requirements
- ✓4+ years experience developing end-to-end AI systems in robotics, games, or embodied AI
- ✓Experience building multi-process systems in C++ or Python
- ✓Deep understanding of concurrency, event-driven architectures, and safe hardware control
- ✓Familiarity with the latest in multimodal model research (VLMs, VLAs)
