About the Role

Applied Controls Inc. is seeking an Automation Product Specialist to support sales of technical industrial products. This role involves providing product expertise and technical guidance to sales teams and customers, ensuring proper product selection and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• →Support outside salespeople with product knowledge and on-the-spot guidance during sales calls
• →Guide customer selection of industrial controls products based on their requirements
• →Provide product selections in response to inside sales and customer requests
• →Provide technical support during installation and programming to retain customers
• →Maintain product knowledge for PLCs, HMIs, industrial networking, automation safety components, and industrial enclosures
• →Collaborate across departments and provide timely responses to internal requests
• →Provide training and expertise to coworkers to enhance team product knowledge
• →Present to large groups for training or product demonstrations
• →Troubleshoot customer problems during installation or programming
• →Provide a high level of customer service through excellent communication and listening skills
