Through an Employer of Record (EOR), we are looking for a new Technical Product Manager in India to join our growing Product Team. This individual will report into our Product Management Team Lead and drive product launches for customer-facing solutions that enhance brand loyalty, retention, and revenue across our website and app. If you have strong technical expertise, a strategic vision, and a passion for collaborating with cross-functional teams to champion customer-centric solutions, we’d love to hear from you!
Role Type: Full-Time
Location: Remote from India
Schedule: Monday through Friday with a minimum schedule overlap of 4-5 hours per day with 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time to ensure effective collaboration
Base Salary: $37,000 - $46,000 USD per year
Responsibilities:
• Manage complex system integrations by overseeing third-party integrations. Understand how data flows between systems and ensure changes to one part of the platform do not create downstream issues in another.
• Evaluate and prioritize opportunities based on business impact, technical complexity, and resource availability, helping prioritize work against larger project and business goals.
• Collaborate on the strategy, discovery, and execution of initiatives involving complex system integrations, enhancements, and customer-facing features.
• Own the product backlog: create detailed, technically sound user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation within JIRA and Confluence.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and sprint reviews, ensuring the team delivers high-quality solutions on time.
• Balance technical debt, new capabilities, and operational improvements.
• Actively manage timelines and deliverables, focusing on interactions within and across departments; collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.
• Collaborate closely with developers to define technical requirements, ensuring feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
• Act as a translator between business and technical stakeholders, clarifying business needs while advocating for technical best practices.
• Lead UAT planning and execution to ensure product quality across projects and releases.
• Support end-to-end testing, QA, and validation for technical implementations and system integrations.
• Establish metrics for key projects and ensure monitoring plans support business goals; analyze product performance and resolve technical issues post-launch.
• Effectively communicate complex insights and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Translate technical concepts into clear, actionable language for non-technical stakeholders across Engineering, QA, Finance, Operations, Customer Service, and Marketing, adapting your communication style to the audience and ensure all teams are aligned on priorities and impact.
• Identify and communicate problems affecting the team and proactively propose and implement solutions.
• Develop a deep understanding of the end-to-end order lifecycle, including payments, inventory, fulfilment, shipping, and returns and ensure platform decisions reflect the operational and financial impact of changes across the business.
• Work with data to validate outcomes Use data tools (SQL, BigQuery, or similar) to validate requirements, verify outcomes, and support evidence-based decision making. Comfortable creating, reading and interpreting API specs, technical documentation, and system diagrams.
• Use AI tools in a product context, whether for product discovery, troubleshooting system issues, analyzing data, or accelerating day-to-day workflows.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in one of the following or associated majors: Business, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years of professional experience with 3+ years in a product or technical role focused on software development and system integrations in an eCommerce setting with a proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives on time and within scope, while demonstrating good judgment in resolving escalated and complex issues.
• Demonstrated Agile development mindset with hands-on expertise in JIRA, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• A natural curiosity for AI tools and demonstrated experience using them in a product context, whether for product discovery, troubleshooting system issues, analyzing data, or accelerating day-to-day workflows.
• Hands-on experience working with Developers and IT teams, including writing technical requirements and participating in technical discussions (e.g., APIs, data models, architecture).
• Cloud deployment experience with one or more major platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure.
• Ability to work on assignments of diverse and complex scope, identifying solutions to unfamiliar problems with minimal guidance.
• Awareness of how monolith and microservice systems coexist and impact each other and an appreciation of how platform changes impact customer experience, operations, and finance.
• Established effective working relationships with senior leadership both internally and externally.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Understanding of full stack development technologies and frameworks, including JavaScript, React, Node.js, Java, Spring Boot, or similar.
• Familiarity with enterprise systems such as Warehouse Management Systems, ERP, CRM, or similar platforms, and experience integrating these systems.
• Certified CSPO, SAFe, or other relevant product/technical certifications, plus Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional, Azure Fundamentals).
