About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Incogni engineering team and help build the next-generation backend platform powering Incogni and Ironwall at scale. This role focuses on creating a secure, scalable, and high-performance service platform that supports rapid business growth and evolving product needs.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, build, and evolve high-traffic, business-critical backend services primarily in Go
- →Lead and influence architectural decisions from domain modeling to deployment strategies
- →Drive the evolution of the service platform with senior and lead engineers
- →Identify performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges
- →Own complex technical initiatives end-to-end, from design to production rollout
- →Write clean, well-tested, production-grade code
Requirements
- ✓Strong experience building production-grade backend systems
- ✓Solid understanding of software design principles, distributed systems, and API design
- ✓Experience with databases, messaging systems, and service-oriented or event-driven architectures
- ✓Ability to reason about concurrency, performance, and reliability
- ✓Confidence participating in architectural discussions and technical decision-making
