About the Role
We are seeking a QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality of our software products. This role involves comprehensive testing across various stages of the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- →Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, and System testing for Web applications, APIs/Web Services, and Databases
- →Review and analyze BRDs/FRDs, user stories, and use cases to derive test scenarios/cases
- →Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test suites with peer reviews
- →Perform backend/data validation using SQL to ensure data accuracy across systems
- →Log, track, and own defects end-to-end through resolution and closure
- →Ensure QA/UAT/Training/Demo environments are stable and maintained in healthy condition
- →Support release readiness, deployment verification, and tight release coordination during SDLC
- →Participate in design and requirement reviews and provide QA inputs early in the cycle
- →Demonstrate features, support client communications, and assist in user training as needed
- →Deliver testing activities within planned timelines and defined quality standards
Requirements
- ✓Experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, and System testing
- ✓Proficiency in reviewing BRDs/FRDs, user stories, and use cases
- ✓Strong SQL skills for backend/data validation
- ✓Experience with defect tracking and management
- ✓Knowledge of QA/UAT/Training/Demo environments
- ✓Understanding of SDLC and release coordination
- ✓Ability to participate in design and requirement reviews
- ✓Excellent communication and client support skills
- ✓Ability to meet timelines and maintain quality standards
