About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled QA Engineer to join our team. This role involves testing web, mobile, and API-based applications with a focus on quality assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and API applications
- →Perform functional, regression, system, and integration testing across platforms
- →Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and backend testing
- →Conduct API testing including request/response validation, error handling, and security checks
- →Validate UI/UX functionality for web and mobile applications
- →Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
- →Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders
- →Contribute to automation strategy and frameworks (where applicable)
- →Ensure QA best practices, documentation, and quality standards are followed
Requirements
- ✓5 to 7 years of experience in Software QA & Testing
- ✓Strong hands-on experience with API testing, web application testing, and mobile application testing
- ✓Strong SQL querying and data validation skills
- ✓Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
- ✓Proven ability to analyze requirements and design test strategies
- ✓Strong defect management & root-cause analysis skills
- ✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ✓Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams
- ✓Experience with test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, RestAssured, Postman automation, etc.)
- ✓Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- ✓Knowledge of performance or security testing concepts
- ✓Exposure to cloud-based environments
