About the Role
We are looking for a Facility Management Director to lead the department at our headquarters and oversee operations at all global SYNTEGON locations.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead the Facility Management department at HQ and be responsible for operations at all worldwide SYNTEGON sites
- →Plan, manage, and control construction, renovation, and maintenance projects including budget, timeline, and quality monitoring – with special focus on energy efficiency and sustainability
- →Select external partners such as architects, engineers, and specialist planners and manage their work
- →Create cost-benefit analyses, recommendations for action, and decision-making basis for management
- →Build and maintain a network of specialists for technical pre-planning and evaluation of projects
- →Support international divestment and due diligence projects as well as space management, including providing relevant data for commercial accounting
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience in facility management leadership roles
- ✓Strong project management skills with focus on energy efficiency and sustainability
- ✓Expertise in managing external partners and contractors
- ✓Experience with cost-benefit analysis and decision-making processes
- ✓Ability to coordinate international projects and maintain specialist networks
