About the Role
We are seeking an Engineering Operations Lead to join our Systems Development Division at STR. This dynamic role involves applying broad technical skills to support growth, maturation, and execution across the division as we transition technology research to acquisition programs.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate with Portfolio Chief Engineers to oversee technical integrity and engineering excellence of projects
- →Establish and maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) applicable at the enterprise level
- →Represent the Division at Enterprise-level meetings related to business operations
- →Identify and cultivate strategic relationships with external partners to augment capabilities
- →Conduct trade studies to guide decisions and optimize outcomes
- →Influence organizational strategy by working with Portfolio and Engineering leadership
Requirements
- ✓Demonstrated experience in technical leadership and delivery of advanced development projects
- ✓Effective problem-solving skills and experience interacting with stakeholders
- ✓Ability to assume multiple roles including technical execution, program management, and business operations
- ✓Bachelor’s degree and at least 15 years of applicable experience; or Master’s degree with 13 years; or PhD with 10 years in engineering/program management
- ✓Strong interpersonal, communication, and technical skills
- ✓Self-motivated with attention to detail and effective communication abilities
