About the Role
T1 Energy is seeking a Senior DBA to ensure database reliability across Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL environments supporting mission-critical systems. This hands-on role will focus on high availability, disaster recovery, performance optimization, and security controls.
Key Responsibilities
- →Administer Oracle Database environments, including Oracle ERP and Data Guard (ADG)
- →Manage SQL Server 2019, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases across production and non-production systems
- →Perform installations, configuration, patching, upgrade, cloning, and migrations
- →Monitor database health, capacity, availability, and performance
- →Maintain and optimize Oracle Data Guard (ADG) environments
- →Design and execute backup and recovery strategies (RMAN and native tools)
- →Diagnose and resolve database performance issues
- →Implement database security best practices including role-based access, encryption, and auditing
- →Automate routine DBA activities using SQL, PL/SQL, Shell, PowerShell, or similar scripting tools
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of enterprise DBA experience
- ✓Strong experience in Oracle Database administration
- ✓Proven experience with Oracle Data Guard (ADG)
- ✓Experience administering Microsoft SQL Server 2019
- ✓Working knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL
- ✓Deep experience in backup/recovery, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- ✓Experience supporting Linux/Unix and Windows server environments
