About the Role

We are looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join Tailor as one of our early technical hires. This role blends core product development with customer-facing implementations, helping to build applications on Tailor’s platform while contributing reusable patterns and components.

Key Responsibilities

→Scope ambiguous customer asks and prototype quickly for stable customer deployments
→Engage with customers and product managers to understand needs and iterate on solutions
→Productize repeatable solutions for accounting, e-commerce, logistics, and other workflows
→Build and ship production-grade features across the stack from front-end UIs to backend APIs
→Work with the founding team to shape engineering standards and platform architecture

Requirements

✓4+ years of experience building and shipping full-stack web applications
✓Proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, and React
✓Strong foundation in data modeling, API design, and production system reliability
✓Experience integrating with third-party APIs in accounting, commerce, or logistics
✓Pragmatic engineering approach with a focus on outcomes
✓Comfortable working with ambiguity and customer needs
