ABOUT US
Here at Tarro we build products that empower small brick and mortar restaurants by liberating them of the operational burden of running their business. We accomplish this by providing a frictionless connection between them and their customers through our multi-product ecosystem offering AI-enabled order taking, delivery enablement, payment solutions, and point-of-sale software. At Tarro, we use a combination of bits (technology) and atoms (people) to solve real world problems facing small business owners.
We obsess over placing our customers first and working backwards from there. When our customers succeed, we succeed. The restaurant industry in the US is over a $1 trillion total addressable market (TAM), but remains relatively underserved by technology. Large chains are able to afford expensive tech that gives them a huge advantage; we believe that small restaurant owners deserve access to the same technologies at an affordable price.
Tarro has been profitable for nearly a decade and seen 5x revenue growth in the last three years. As of our last fundraising round in mid-2022, we were valued at $450M and have since seen substantial growth across customer acquisition, product development and company headcount. Thousands of loyal restaurants have entrusted Tarro with their success, and together we have supported nearly 20 million customers. We are proud to be named one of Built Inβs top companies to work for in 2023.

- You will support company-wide planning and goal alignment initiatives, including OKRs, operating cadences, dashboards, and execution reviews.
- You will help design scalable workflows, documentation systems, and operating frameworks that improve clarity, accountability, and execution speed.
- You will diagnose organizational friction and help redesign processes, communication structures, and feedback loops to improve operational effectiveness.
- You will help institutionalize how Tarro works by building systems that reduce single-point dependency and preserve organizational knowledge.
- You will support cross-functional transformation projects involving internal tooling, process redesign, AI-enabled workflows, and operational improvements.

- Build and maintain internal documentation and communication systems that improve institutional memory and reduce information fragmentation.
- Design lightweight operational mechanisms for tracking performance, ownership, and execution health across teams.
- Support the implementation of internal tools, dashboards, workflows, or AI-enabled systems that improve operational efficiency and reduce administrative overhead.
- Partner with leadership on at least 1β2 cross-functional operational improvement initiatives focused on improving execution quality or organizational clarity.
ABOUT YOU
- You have up to 5 years of experience in business operations, strategy & transformation, consulting, or generalist operational roles.
- You have experience working on cross-functional initiatives from problem definition through execution.
- You are highly analytical and enjoy breaking down ambiguous organizational problems into structured frameworks and actionable solutions.
- You can simplify complexity, communicate clearly, and create scalable systems, documentation, or workflows.

- You are intellectually curious about how organizations function, scale, and make decisions.
- You have a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality with current or prior experience operating in fast-paced, collaborative, and highly ambiguous environments.
BONUS POINTS
- You have experience in consulting, BizOps, internal strategy, transformation, or Chief-of-Staff-style roles.
- You have worked with planning frameworks, OKRs, operational dashboards, or execution tracking systems.
- You have built or maintained knowledge systems using tools such as Confluence, Notion, Airtable, or GPT-enabled workflows.
- You have experience improving internal operations, communication systems, or organizational workflows in a startup or high-growth environment.
