About the Role
We are looking for a Working Student Automation Engineer to join our Corporate IT team at Taxfix Group. This role involves building systems, automations, and integrations to help employees across Germany, Spain, and the UK work more effectively. You'll collaborate with various teams to understand their pain points and deliver technical solutions that drive efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- →Assist in building internal tools and products that solve real business problems
- →Develop automations using scripts and APIs to eliminate manual work
- →Write SQL queries and custom scripts to support system designs
- →Collaborate with stakeholders in People Operations and Talent Acquisition
- →Explore and integrate AI technologies into internal processes
- →Create clear documentation for systems you help build
Requirements
- ✓Currently enrolled in a university degree program in Computer Science or related field
- ✓Able to work 15–20 hours per week during the semester
- ✓Good knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript)
- ✓Academic knowledge or experience with APIs, SQL, and data manipulation
- ✓Interest in learning low-code platforms and CI/CD concepts
- ✓Product mindset with a focus on user experience
- ✓Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus
