About the Role

We are looking for an Automation Engineer to join the Corporate IT team at Taxfix Group. This role involves building systems, automations, and integrations to help employees across Germany, Spain, and the UK work more effectively. You'll be part of a 6-person team focused on creating value through technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

→Design and build internal products, workflows, and integrations that solve real business problems
→Develop automations and integrations between SaaS tools using APIs, scripts, and connector logic
→Implement system designs with code-heavy nodes in low-code platforms
→Partner with stakeholders to understand needs, define outcomes, and deliver solutions
→Drive initiatives to integrate AI technologies into people team processes
→Create documentation and provide guidance on using the systems you build
→Measure the impact of your solutions through clear metrics

Requirements

✓3-5 years of experience as a software engineer or automation engineer
✓Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript)
✓Experience working with APIs and building integrations between business systems
✓Solid data handling skills using SQL
✓Familiarity with low-code platforms (e.g., N8N, Zapier)
✓Experience integrating AI technologies into business processes
✓Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Github Actions
✓Product mindset focused on outcomes and user experience
✓Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus
