The opportunity
Weβre hiring a Software Engineer III to join our Internal Software Engineering team.
This is a senior-level individual contributor role focused on delivering full-stack features that power our internal lead generation and delivery platform. You will independently own feature delivery from defined requirements through implementation, deployment, and post-release support.
Our engineering culture emphasizes ownership, collaboration, and pragmatic execution. Engineers work closely with Product to clarify requirements, evaluate trade-offs, and deliver scalable solutions that support core business workflows. We ship frequently, operate within AWS-based infrastructure, and expect engineers to take responsibility for quality and maintainability across the stack. We embrace AI-assisted tooling and modern development practices.
This role requires strong backend depth, the ability to contribute across the stack when needed, and comfort balancing delivery speed with system reliability in a distributed environment.

What you'll do
β’ Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications that support our internal platform
β’ Own delivery of features from technical design through deployment and post-release support
β’ Collaborate closely with Product Managers to clarify requirements and design pragmatic technical solutions
β’ Build and maintain backend services using PHP (Laravel/Lumen) or Python
β’ Contribute to frontend functionality using JavaScript where needed
β’ Develop APIs and integrations with internal and third-party systems
β’ Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
β’ Work within AWS-based infrastructure and Git-based deployment workflows
β’ Participate in structured code reviews and uphold engineering quality standards
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve production issues when they arise
β’ Contribute to architectural discussions and continuous improvement initiatives
β’ Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency and quality
Who you are
β’ 4+ years of professional software engineering experience in production environments
β’ Proven experience operating at a mid-senior or senior IC level with ownership of feature delivery
β’ Strong backend proficiency in PHP (Laravel/Lumen) or Python
β’ Comfortable contributing across the stack, including JavaScript-based frontend work
β’ Experience building and maintaining API-driven systems
β’ Solid experience working with relational databases
β’ Experience deploying and supporting applications in cloud environments such as AWS
β’ Familiarity with containerized applications and CI/CD workflows
β’ Able to independently move defined features from ready-for-development to deployed production systems
β’ Strong collaborator who works effectively with Product and cross-functional teams
β’ Comfortable operating in a distributed team across time zones
β’ Open to leveraging AI-assisted development tools
β’ Must have a working laptop/pc and internet and back-up connection
β’ Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward

We seek to hire top-tier individuals and intend for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision. Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.
