All positions are open to remote work unless otherwise specified in the requirements below. The opportunity We’re hiring a Software Engineer III to join our Internal Software Engineering team. This is a senior-level individual contributor role focused on delivering full-stack features that power our internal lead generation and delivery platform. You will independently own feature delivery from defined requirements through implementation, deployment, and post-release support. Our engineering culture emphasizes ownership, collaboration, and pragmatic execution. Engineers work closely with Product to clarify requirements, evaluate trade-offs, and deliver scalable solutions that support core business workflows. We ship frequently, operate within AWS-based infrastructure, and expect engineers to take responsibility for quality and maintainability across the stack. We embrace AI-assisted tooling and modern development practices. This role requires strong backend depth, the ability to contribute across the stack when needed, and comfort balancing delivery speed with system reliability in a distributed environment. Employment Level: Mid-Level II Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Philippines Working Hours: 4:00 pm to 1:00 am PHT What you'll do • Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications that support our internal platform • Own delivery of features from technical design through deployment and post-release support • Collaborate closely with Product Managers to clarify requirements and design pragmatic technical solutions • Build and maintain backend services using PHP (Laravel/Lumen) or Python • Contribute to frontend functionality using JavaScript where needed • Develop APIs and integrations with internal and third-party systems • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code • Work within AWS-based infrastructure and Git-based deployment workflows • Participate in structured code reviews and uphold engineering quality standards • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues when they arise • Contribute to architectural discussions and continuous improvement initiatives • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency and quality Who you are • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience in production environments • Proven experience operating at a mid-senior or senior IC level with ownership of feature delivery • Strong backend proficiency in PHP (Laravel/Lumen) or Python • Comfortable contributing across the stack, including JavaScript-based frontend work • Experience building and maintaining API-driven systems • Solid experience working with relational databases • Experience deploying and supporting applications in cloud environments such as AWS • Familiarity with containerized applications and CI/CD workflows • Able to independently move defined features from ready-for-development to deployed production systems • Strong collaborator who works effectively with Product and cross-functional teams • Comfortable operating in a distributed team across time zones • Open to leveraging AI-assisted development tools • Must have a working laptop/pc and internet and back-up connection • Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward **The duties and responsibilities listed above describe the post as it is in general terms and are not definitive. Salary Range We seek to hire top-tier individuals and intend for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision. Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.
