Your Role:
As a Channel Security Engineer, you aren't just a technical resource; you are the Technical Face of Tenable across the UK and Europe.
This role is designed for a dynamic engineer who thrives on human connection. If you love the energy of a major tech expo, the strategy of a partner summit, and the influence of a high-profile industry event, this is your stage. You will be out in the field, turning Tenable’s market-leading vision into reality for our most strategic partners.
Your Opportunity:
The Channel Evangelist (UK & Europe)
• Event Excellence: Be the technical star at major industry expos and partner conferences. Whether you’re delivering a theater session at Infosec, leading a breakout at a partner summit, or manning a deep-dive pod, you own the room.
• On-Site Technical Strategy: Move beyond the screen. You will lead on-site "Exposure Strategy Workshops" at partner HQs, helping their technical leadership align their service offerings with Tenable’s 2026 roadmap.
• High-Impact Engagement: You thrive on the "roadshow" lifestyle—participating in regional tech-tours and partner-led "Capture the Flag" events to build excitement and technical competency across the territory.
Partner Enablement & Innovation
• "Train the Trainer" Excellence: Empower partner SEs to lead with the Tenable One Exposure Management Platform, ensuring they can articulate our Gartner-leading value proposition without corporate intervention.
• Building Managed Services: Consult with partners at their offices to co-create "Exposure-as-a-Service" offerings, integrating Tenable into their modern, AI-driven SOCs.
• Technical Validation (PoX): Oversee high-stakes Proof of Value engagements, ensuring partners have the on-the-ground support they need to secure major technical wins.
Technical DNA
• Exposure Management Expert: Deep understanding of the CAASM and ASPM frameworks that underpin our 2026 Gartner leadership.
• The Power of AI: Proficiency in using Tenable ExposureAI to automate security reporting and demonstrate predictive risk to partner technical teams.
• Modern Architecture: Strong grasp of Cloud-Native security (AWS/Azure/GCP), Identity (Entra ID/AD), and the convergence of IT/OT.
• Competitive Intelligence: The ability to explain, in a live environment, why Tenable’s preventive approach beats legacy, reactive competitors
The Ideal Candidate
• The Industry Connector: You are at your best when you’re interacting with the security community. You enjoy the social and professional networking that comes with attending expos and partner events.
• The Presenter: You have a "stage presence." You can explain complex AI-driven security concepts to a crowd of 50 as easily as you can to a single engineer.
• The Strategist: 5+ years in Pre-Sales or Partner Engineering. You know that the best deals are won by building technical trust in person.
• The Regional Specialist: You are comfortable and excited about frequent travel across the UK and Europe to engage with partners in their own environments.
