About the Role
We are looking for an Intern to support Scheduling & Risk Management for the execution of Low Earth Orbit Missions at The Exploration Company. This role involves documenting and managing schedules and risks, improving milestone flowdown, and maintaining dashboards for the Nyx Earth version project.
Key Responsibilities
- →Support the Program team in documenting and maintaining the master schedule
- →Assist in improving the flowdown of major program milestones to lower-level activities
- →Help track progress against milestones and identify potential delays
- →Support the identification and documentation of program risks
- →Assist in maintaining a risk register and updating mitigation plans
- →Maintain a program and risk dashboard accessible to the entire Nyx team
- →Prepare clear and concise reports for internal stakeholders
- →Work closely with subsystem leads to ensure alignment of schedules and risk data
- →Foster effective communication within the Program team and across technical teams
Requirements
- ✓Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
- ✓Strong interest in space systems and program management
- ✓Basic understanding of scheduling principles and risk management concepts
- ✓Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, monday.com, or similar) is a plus
- ✓Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is an advantage
- ✓Excellent organizational and communication skills
- ✓Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- ✓Fluent in English; French or German is a plus
