About the Role
We are looking for an AWS Software Engineer to join our team that develops software interfaces with major TV streaming providers. This role is at the heart of Nielsen’s streaming measurement strategy, responsible for delivering technical solutions from project onboarding to post-launch support.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build new features in video and meta-data asset capture systems
- →Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment
- →Maintain code quality through reviews and adherence to best practices
- →Optimize applications for performance and remote installation
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams on software development
- →Implement security best practices across all system tiers
Requirements
- ✓Experience with Python and SQL optimized for AWS platform
- ✓Knowledge of CI/CD implementation and best practices
- ✓Ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
- ✓Strong understanding of security practices for cloud systems
- ✓Experience with video and meta-data processing systems
- ✓Ability to work with delocalized project teams across regions
