About the Role
The Product Manager at Gracenote, a Nielsen business unit, holds ultimate responsibility for making a specific set of core data commercially successful. This role involves defining the collection and delivery of data in our products and working with a cross-functional team to solve challenging problems in the media industry.
Key Responsibilities
- →Create and manage metadata products that power the TV entertainment solutions for top clients worldwide
- →Work closely with clients and partners to develop a product strategy for video metadata
- →Define a clear product vision that aligns with business and product strategy
- →Collaborate with stakeholders and partners to prioritize and deliver a compelling roadmap
- →Become the Subject Matter Expert on video metadata and internal delivery pipelines
- →Track industry trends, standards organizations activity, and the competitive landscape
- →Engage with Engineering to define optimal XML/JSON delivery schemas
Requirements
- ✓Experience in product management, preferably in media or entertainment industry
- ✓Strong understanding of metadata and data delivery systems
- ✓Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- ✓Knowledge of XML and JSON data formats
- ✓Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
