Salary Range

Key Responsibilities
- →Monitor product/service operations against key performance indicators and take necessary actions in response to detected deviations.
- →Document appropriate responses to various incident scenarios and prepare runbooks in collaboration with development teams.
- →Automate, configure, and tweak alerts and monitoring to reduce human effort in day-to-day operations.
- →Respond to production incidents and execute well-defined responses, raising incidents to higher levels of support when necessary.
- →Assist development teams in incident resolution, including pair work, providing updates, and handling communication.
- →Conduct incident root cause analysis (RCA), prepare incident postmortem reports, and communicate findings to client stakeholders.
- →Implement service/product reliability improvements by writing infrastructure/observability configuration code with service reliability engineers.
Requirements
- ✓2+ years of experience with AWS and GCP.
- ✓Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitlabCI, CircleCI.
- ✓Exposure to log aggregation systems like EFK, Splunk, Datadog.
- ✓Hands-on experience with monitoring, alerting, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog.
- ✓Hands-on experience with container ecosystem tech stacks like Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift.
- ✓Basic understanding of API concepts including request, response, headers, authentication, JSON payloads.
- ✓Basic understanding of networking concepts such as high availability, load balancing, and proxies.
- ✓Basic understanding of traffic load management approaches like horizontal and vertical scaling.
- ✓Basic understanding of availability concepts such as downtime, time to recover/restore, SLAs.
- ✓Experience running basic system administration operations in Linux operating systems like RHEL or Ubuntu.
- ✓Good communication skills and proficiency in English.
- ✓Ability to hold Q&A discussions confidently.
- ✓Willingness to be part of a rotation- and need-based 24x7 team.
