About the Role
We are looking for a Lead Developer to join our team at Thoughtworks. This role involves acting as the primary point of contact for clients and ensuring successful delivery of projects. You will bring a strategic mindset to projects and collaborate with clients to bring technical visions to life.
Key Responsibilities
- →Champion and adopt best practices like writing clean and reusable code using TDD, pair programming, and design patterns
- →Oversee or take part in the entire cycle of software consulting and delivery from ideation to evolution in production
- →Use and advocate for continuous delivery practices to deliver high-quality software
- →Design solutions and choose technologies that solve clients’ problems while working within constraints
- →Collaborate with teammates to build features, design concepts, and interactive prototypes
- →Apply the latest technology thinking from our Technology Radar to solve client problems
- →Utilize and champion DevSecOps tools and practices to build and deploy software
- →Cultivate Thoughtworker growth and development by encouraging feedback and fostering an inclusive team culture
Requirements
- ✓Well-versed in Golang and React JS
- ✓Experience leading software development teams using Agile, Lean, and/or Continuous methodologies
- ✓Knowledge of delivery approaches such as TDD, continuous integration, pairing, and infrastructure automation
- ✓Experience in cloud technology such as AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes
- ✓Continuous learning and improvement through various technical paradigms
- ✓Experience influencing others and advocating for technical excellence
- ✓Ability to bridge product and technology by translating business needs to software requirements
- ✓Ability to develop and execute a technical vision with a focus on business value
- ✓Mentorship experience for less experienced peers
- ✓Resilience in ambiguous situations and ability to approach challenges from multiple perspectives
