About the Role
Lead Developers act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring successful team delivery. This role requires a strategic mindset and collaboration with clients to bring technical visions to life.
Key Responsibilities
- →Champion and adopt best practices like writing clean and reusable code using TDD, pair programming, and design patterns
- →Oversee or participate in the entire cycle of software consulting and delivery from ideation to production
- →Use and advocate for continuous delivery practices to deliver high-quality software
- →Design solutions and choose technologies that solve clients’ problems while working within constraints
- →Collaborate with teammates to build features, design concepts, and interactive prototypes
- →Apply the latest technology thinking from our Technology Radar to solve client problems
- →Utilize and champion DevSecOps tools and practices to build and deploy software
- →Cultivate Thoughtworker growth and development by encouraging feedback and fostering an inclusive team culture
Requirements
- ✓Well-versed in fullstack technologies including Java, Springboot, React, revit, and .NET
- ✓Experience leading software development teams using Agile, Lean, and/or Continuous methodologies
- ✓Knowledge of delivery approaches such as TDD, continuous integration, pairing, and infrastructure automation
- ✓Experience influencing others and advocating for technical excellence
- ✓Ability to develop and execute a technical vision with a focus on business value
- ✓Experience mentoring less experienced peers through technical knowledge and team inspiration
- ✓Resilience in ambiguous situations and the ability to approach challenges from multiple perspectives
