About the Role

Infrastructure Support Engineers at Thoughtworks play a vital role in maintaining technical excellence and operational efficiency, with a primary focus on cloud environments. You'll help clients through the transition to agile, value-focused practices, emphasizing shared responsibility and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

→Monitor infrastructure performance and respond to incidents promptly
→Define and document appropriate responses to various incident scenarios
→Automate operations to reduce human effort and improve team efficiency
→Serve as the first responder to incidents in production environments
→Coordinate with support teams, tech leads, and development teams to resolve incidents
→Prepare incident root cause analysis and postmortem reports
→Implement service/product reliability improvements

Requirements

✓5+ years of experience in Azure
✓Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or Gitlab
✓Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tech stacks such as Terraform, Ansible, ARM, or Cloudformation
✓Experience with observability tools for logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting
✓Hands-on experience with container ecosystem tech stacks like Docker, Kubernetes, and Openshift
✓Understanding of system performance tuning, scaling, and disaster recovery solutions
✓Experience with Linux OS operations and Bash scripts
✓Experience supporting backend storage solutions like SQL and NoSQL databases
✓Experience in networking configuration and security
✓Good understanding of fundamental API concepts
✓Strong communication and articulation skills
✓Ability to work under pressure and with composure during production incidents
✓Strong analysis, deduction, and reasoning skills
✓Strong drive and ownership to deliver work
✓Willingness to be part of a 24x7 available team
