About the Role
We are looking for a Product Designer to join the Marketplace team at Thumbtack. You will work collaboratively to turn complex problems into intuitive user experiences, owning projects from conception to launch and measuring success through data and user research.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design customer-centric experiences with measurable business impact
- →Partner with designers, researchers, product managers, engineers, data scientists and marketers to lead product visions and develop design solutions
- →Use research and qualitative data to guide design and development decisions
- →Develop a deep understanding of customers and pros while focusing on key metrics
- →Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes
- →Test, learn, and iterate to solve existing problems and discover new opportunities
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of overall product design experience
- ✓Portfolio with a history of impactful projects showcasing your design process
- ✓Strong UX, interaction, and visual design skills with a human-centric approach
- ✓Ability to balance high-quality craft with agility and iterative experimentation
- ✓A bias for action and understanding of how your work impacts users and the business
- ✓Experience designing customer experiences that have led to measurable growth results
- ✓Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- ✓Expertise in prototyping with experience creating interactive prototypes
