OUR MISSION
We exist to create a more connected, compassionate, and confident experience for people with cancer and those who care for them. We make it easier to get answers, access high-quality care quickly, and feel supported throughout treatment and beyond.
Today, Thyme Care is a market-leading value-based oncology care enabler, partnering with national and regional health plans, providers, and employers to deliver better outcomes and lower costs for thousands of people across the country. Our model combines high-touch human support with powerful technology and AI to bring together everyone involved in a personβs cancer journey: caregivers, oncologists, health plans, and employers.
As a tech-native organization, we believe technology should strengthen the human connection at the center of care. Through data science, automation, and AI, we simplify complexity, improve collaboration, and help care teams focus on what matters most: supporting people through cancer.
Looking ahead, our vision is bold: to become a household name in cancer care, where every person diagnosed asks for Thyme Care by name. If youβre inspired to make cancer care more human and to help reimagine whatβs possible, weβd love to meet you. Together, we can build a future where every person with cancer feels truly cared for, in every moment that matters.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Senior Product Manager on our Data Ingestion & Care Enablement (DICE) team, you will be the connective tissue between our external partners, internal data systems, and the product and care teams that depend on them. You'll own the data integrations and partner relationships that power Thyme Care's ability to identify, enroll, and serve our members β making sure the right data flows to the right teams at the right time.
This role sits at the intersection of contracts, data, product behavior, and care workflows. You'll partner closely with payer and provider organizations to acquire and exchange data, define program populations, and ensure our integrations meet both contractual and clinical requirements. Internally, you'll work across our data science, engineering, growth, health economics, and clinical operations teams to translate complex data problems into clear requirements and actionable plans.
Additionally, you will:
β’ Own partner data integrations end-to-end: lead implementations with payers and providers, managing data ingestion, quality, enrollment logic, and return files from kickoff through go-live and ongoing operations
β’ Serve as a primary point of contact for external data counterparts: negotiate data specifications, troubleshoot issues, and build strong working relationships with partner organizations
β’ Translate technical complexity into business clarity: break down intricate data and integration challenges into actionable requirements that product, engineering, and data science teams can execute against
β’ Drive cross-functional alignment: coordinate across DICE, growth, health economics, clinical operations, and care delivery teams to ensure data-dependent initiatives stay on track
β’ Build and maintain operational visibility: develop monitoring, dashboards, and proactive alerting so the team can shift from reactive problem-solving to proactive management of data quality and integration health
β’ Own analyses that drive decisions: lead work on eligibility reconciliation, claims analysis, enrollment trends, and other data investigations that inform executive and operational decision-making
β’ Shape the DICE roadmap: partner with your team lead to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and drive multi-quarter projects that improve how Thyme Care acquires, processes, and leverages data
β’ Leverage AI to accelerate your work: stay current with AI tools and capabilities, applying them where they can improve your own productivity and the effectiveness of data workflows
WHAT YOU'VE DONE
β’ 4+ years of experience in product management, data operations, or a related role within healthcare
β’ Direct experience working with healthcare claims data, eligibility files, and value-based care data in a payer, provider, or health tech environment
β’ Track record of managing complex data integrations or implementations with external partners
β’ Experience collaborating closely with data science and data engineering teams; comfortable with SQL and working in data-heavy environments
β’ Proven ability to manage competing priorities across multiple partners and internal stakeholders simultaneously
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and vice versa
β’ Experience operating effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where you had to define the path forward
Nice to haves:
β’ Experience with clinical ontologies or healthcare data standards
β’ Familiarity with data pipeline tools and concepts (e.g., dbt, GitHub Actions) β not as a builder, but as a collaborator
β’ Experience in value-based care contract operations or performance measurement
β’ Background in health economics, actuarial, or clinical data analysis
WHAT LEADS TO SUCCESS
β’ Self-starter mentality. You don't wait for someone to hand you a problem statement. You see gaps, ask questions, and move toward solutions β even when the path isn't fully defined.
β’ Relentless curiosity. You dig into the data, the contracts, and the workflows until you truly understand how things work. You ask "why" repeatedly and aren't satisfied with surface-level answers.
β’ Cross-functional glue. You bring clarity where there's confusion. You're the person teams turn to when something touches multiple systems, partners, or stakeholders and needs to actually work. You build trust across organizational boundaries.
β’ Partner management instincts. You're comfortable as the face of Thyme Care to external data counterparts. You can navigate competing priorities, negotiate gracefully, and maintain strong relationships through complex implementations.
β’ Organized under pressure. You juggle multiple partner launches, data issues, and internal requests without dropping balls. Your documentation and communication keep everyone aligned.
β’ Comfort with data. You can open a dataset, spot anomalies, write queries to investigate, and collaborate fluently with data scientists and engineers β even if you're not building pipelines yourself.
β’ Humility and directness. You listen first and build consensus by default, but you can drive hard decisions when needed. You say what you'll do and do what you say.
