About the Role
We are looking for a Lead Product Designer to join our team in the Payment Services speedboat at Tide. This role focuses on designing and implementing solutions for cross-border payments that help small and medium-sized enterprises manage their finances efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own the design vision for a core business area within the Tide platform
- →Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Engineers, UX Writers, and User Researchers
- →Drive the end-to-end design process from discovery to execution
- →Cultivate a deep understanding of our members through research and data analysis
- →Champion a user-centric culture and evolve the Tide Design System
Requirements
- ✓Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Product Design
- ✓Proven track record of leading design workstreams and mentoring junior designers
- ✓Experience designing for complex user flows and financial services
- ✓In-depth knowledge of User Experience and Product Design methodologies
- ✓Strong UI skills and a portfolio demonstrating outstanding craft
- ✓Expert-level proficiency in Figma and advanced prototyping tools
- ✓Comfortable working in an agile environment
- ✓Data-driven approach to design
- ✓Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
