Senior GoLang Engineer at Tide

About the Role

We are looking for a Go Backend Engineer to join our Payroll team at Tide. This role involves building and maintaining payroll software that is easy to use and scalable for our 1.6 million members globally.

Key Responsibilities

• →Own services end-to-end: design, build, and run them
• →Ship across the stack, including frontend and other services
• →Deploy to production from week one using GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and EKS
• →Shape our internationalization architecture as we expand beyond the UK
• →Design and build payroll modules in Go 1.25 with PostgreSQL and Redis
• →Work directly with Product on user needs and HMRC compliance
• →Contribute to a 200+ service ecosystem using SNS+SQS
• →Use DataDog for observability and RESTful APIs with generated TypeScript types for frontend integration
