About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join Tilt, a mobile-first financial services company that uses machine learning to provide credit to millions of customers worldwide. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for building and testing deep learning architectures that define how Tilt understands risk.

Key Responsibilities

→Architect and test deep learning architectures (transformers, embeddings, and neural networks)
→Partner with Engineering and Product teams to ensure models are effective and scalable
→Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable solutions for the lending platform
→Take ownership of projects from hypothesis to measuring outcomes
→Share findings and mentor others to grow the team's deep learning capability
→Define success by how your work improves financial outcomes for customers

Requirements

✓Proven track record of building and deploying deep learning models using frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
✓Experience applying machine learning to complex problems, preferably in financial services
✓Expertise in breaking down problems and applying models thoughtfully
✓Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical partners
