About the Role
We are looking for a Product Designer to join Toast, the restaurant platform that helps restaurants adapt and grow. This role focuses on building modern, reliable, and scalable web and mobile experiences that power restaurants of every size.
Key Responsibilities
- →Shape the foundations of web and mobile experiences by defining and evolving cross-product UX patterns
- →Build and scale the design system by creating and maintaining components, patterns, and guidelines
- →Provide consultative support to product designers and engineers adopting system patterns
- →Collaborate with engineering to ensure components are feasible, accessible, and production-ready
- →Lead UX reviews and establish standards that elevate usability and visual polish
- →Ensure experiences meet accessibility standards through design decisions and documentation
- →Use data and research to guide decisions and prioritize improvements
- →Influence roadmap and strategy by identifying foundational gaps and proposing system investments
- →Communicate design concepts and experiments to stakeholders
