About the Role
We are looking for a Hardware Product Manager to join the product management team at Toast. This role involves working on next-generation hardware devices for restaurant customers and shaping the future of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work on the next generation hardware devices for our customers
- →Be the voice of the customer, understanding their needs and leading product design
- →Discover customer pain points and drive for high-quality feature requests
- →Develop Product Requirements Documents to drive hardware development
- →Manage vendors and overseas suppliers, ensuring clear communication and quality products
- →Understand the competitive landscape and strategize resource priorities
- →Lead by influence, working with various teams to support business needs
- →Execute flawless product launches with Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Customer Success teams
- →Manage multiple projects within tight timelines
- →Source new products and drive their qualification internally and externally
- →Analyze and track product KPIs to understand hardware performance
Requirements
- ✓Minimum 5 years of Product Manager experience in a fast-paced hardware development environment
- ✓Strong understanding of hardware product development processes
- ✓Experience building strategic partnerships with hardware vendors and suppliers
- ✓Proven experience in bridging technical and business sides of hardware projects
- ✓Strong communication skills, including visual demonstration of ideas
- ✓Proven time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- ✓Strong problem-solving skills
- ✓Experience in user experience design and research
- ✓Experience in data mining and/or querying skills
