About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our distributed team working on high-impact projects for autonomous vehicles at Tomtom's HD Map division. You'll participate in all phases of the project lifecycle and build scalable, highly available backend applications.

→Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle from requirements gathering to development

→Drive technical decisions to improve engineering, test, and operational excellence

Requirements

✓Computer Science and development fundamentals including object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
✓2+ years of professional software development or data engineer experience
✓Experience in Python and Java
✓Experience in building cloud services
✓Familiarity with professional software engineering best practices
✓Proactive attitude towards challenges
✓Ability to learn new languages and technologies
✓Comfortable with written and verbal communication in English
