Customer Program Manager at tomtom

The Customer Program Manager will oversee post-sales activities for assigned Automotive and / or Enterprise customers in the European market. This role is vital in managing medium to large programs with a focus on ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will provide technical guidance, ensuring that deliverables align with both customer and organizational expectations What you'll do • Manage post-sales activities and delivery of customer programs for Automotive and enterprise clients in Europe. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product delivery meets and exceeds customer expectations. • Accountable for program delivery within budget while addressing complex customer needs and requirements. • Establish and nurture strong relationships with customers, working closely with account managers to address escalations. • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, ensuring compliance with budget and quality standards. • Facilitate cross-functional meetings, documenting critical communications and engaging with engineering and product units. • Champion best practices in risk mitigation, stakeholder alignment, and successful program delivery. • Act as a spokesperson for senior stakeholders, promoting a culture of collaboration and customer obsession. • Representing the customer in the TomTom product units, such that the customer’s requirements and needs are getting addressed; following up on projects, operational activities and delivery schedules that are critical to the customer Leadership Behaviors & Principles • Coordinate, facilitate, influence and resolve impediments internally and externally in order to ensure smooth deliveries and contract fulfillment • Communicate priorities effectively while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. • Competencies: • Proactively define and optimize resource requirements, resolving technical and operational challenges. • Maintain consistent communication with management regarding performance and sensitive issues. • Operate independently, requiring guidance only in highly complex scenarios, while driving innovation in technical processes. • Empathize with diverse cultural backgrounds and effectively manage multi-disciplinary stakeholders. What you'll need • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; extensive experience in the software development lifecycle is essential. • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in project management and product lifecycle management with a focus on complex projects. • Strong knowledge of the automotive & enterprise industry trends and their implications for strategic development. • Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills; mastery of English.
