About the Role
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join TomTom's Maps team, responsible for evolving the Orbis Road and Lane Models. This role involves transforming high-fidelity data into map content that powers next-generation navigation and automated driving systems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage your team to execute against project plans and delivery commitments
- →Own the complete software development lifecycle, from defining and prioritizing to designing and leading implementation and testing
- →Own all business and operational support and metrics for your team’s software
- →Enable and support your team members to maximize their potential
- →Translate customers’ complex requirements into technical solutions
- →Set up your team for innovation and define new ideas contributing to the future of map-making
Requirements
- ✓2+ years of experience as a people manager
- ✓5+ years of experience as a software developer
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, physics, or related technical discipline
- ✓Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment
- ✓Ability to break down complex concepts into easily understood frameworks
- ✓Excellence in technical communication with peers and non-technical stakeholders
- ✓Experience using Cloud Providers (Azure preferred)
