About the Role
We are looking for a student to join our Quality Assurance team to test our navigation SDK in real-world conditions. This role combines hands-on software testing with field testing to evaluate navigation experiences from a user's perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- →Drive assigned routes in and around Amsterdam as part of a two-person testing team
- →Provide real-time feedback on navigation performance while your colleague operates test equipment
- →Perform structured manual and exploratory testing in a lab environment
- →Identify, document, and report bugs clearly for developers
- →Give user-focused feedback on new features and usability
- →Assist with basic troubleshooting of in-car testing equipment
- →Share concise daily updates on what you tested and what you found
Requirements
- ✓Enrollment as a current student in a relevant field
- ✓A valid EU driver’s license and confidence behind the wheel
- ✓Foundational experience or coursework in software testing
- ✓Curiosity about technology and how things work; interest in automotive or mapping is a plus
- ✓Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies
- ✓Clear communication skills for describing technical issues
- ✓Comfort using new apps and mobile devices
- ✓Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira) is a bonus
