About the Role
We are looking for a Product Design Lead to join our team at Top Hat. This role involves working across the entire design process, from problem identification to implementation, and collaborating with Product Designers and Senior Product Managers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Spend time with professors and students to understand their challenges and aspirations
- →Collaborate with product managers to articulate problems worth solving and find solutions
- →Iterate on concepts, exploring ideas in low and high fidelity while gathering feedback
- →Ship features frequently, collaborating with engineers to ensure high-quality designs
- →Contribute to team processes, improving design systems and components
Requirements
- ✓Minimum of 5 years of experience as a product designer or similar role
- ✓Experience with the full design process, from shipping to stakeholder management
- ✓Strong intuition for visual design, including typography, color, and spacing
- ✓Knowledge of inclusive design and familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA
- ✓Initiative to grow craft beyond day-to-day work
- ✓Experience maintaining design systems
