About the Role
We are looking for a Pre-Sales Lab Engineer to join Torq, a rapidly growing cybersecurity company with significant funding and growth. This role involves designing and managing technical lab environments that showcase the power of Torq’s AI-driven SOC platform.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and maintain POC and demo environments that demonstrate Torq’s AI-driven SOC workflows.
- →Design realistic investigation and response scenarios powered by automation and AI agents.
- →Integrate leading security tools such as EDR, Email Security, Firewalls, and SIEM into lab environments.
- →Support customer POCs and technical sales engagements.
- →Build reusable automation workflows and demo scenarios for Sales Engineering teams.
- →Troubleshoot and rapidly rebuild environments to support fast sales cycles.
- →Support technical events, webinars, and conferences with demo environments and use cases.
- →Improve lab scalability through automation and orchestration.
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, SOC engineering, SOAR, or security automation
- ✓Hands-on experience with SOC workflows, incident response, or security operations
- ✓Experience working with security and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, Okta, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Nessus, ServiceNow, and Jira
- ✓Experience building and managing technical labs, demo environments, or POC infrastructure
- ✓Experience with Python scripting or API integrations
- ✓Familiarity with enterprise environments such as Microsoft Active Directory or Google Workspace administration
- ✓Strong knowledge of sales engineering processes, technical sales workflows, and customer engagement
- ✓Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to different audiences
