Introducing Product and Supply at Trainline π
Weβre building a seamless end-to-end travel experienceβfrom search and booking through to journey and destination. As a fast-growing consumer business operating across Europe, we serve millions of weekly customers and are the leading rail travel app in key markets including the UK, France, Italy, and Spain!
Our Supply organisation powers all customer propositions across B2C, Business Travel, B2B Distribution, and partner integrations, spanning web, app, APIs, and internal tools. This role sits within European Supply Integrations, a critical area enabling our ambition to build the worldβs leading rail platform and support greener travel choices.
The team manages 20+ vendor integrations covering 250+ carriers across Europe, with a focus on key growth markets. Working across multiple engineering squads, they build and maintain integrations that power core customer journeys and support wider business functions.
Weβre looking for a Product Manager to join a core supply team, owning key European inventory initiatives. This is a high-impact opportunity to solve complex problems, scale our supply platform, and collaborate closely with suppliers. In this role as a Product Manager at Trainline, you will...π
- Work closely with an engineering squad (based in Paris), building strong relationships with engineers, stakeholders, and suppliers across Europe.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Supply, and Commercial teams to define OKRs, prioritise outcomes, and align with company goals.
- Own and evolve the roadmap across short-, medium-, and long-term horizons, informed by customer insights, strategy, and market context.
- Champion the customer by using insights and data to ensure the team delivers meaningful, user-focused outcomes.
- Identify opportunities, navigate ambiguity, and drive impactful, outcome-led improvements.
- Set and manage squad priorities, balancing new features, platform improvements, and operational needs with clear, data-informed trade-offs.
- Use data to generate insights, test hypotheses, and share learnings, while managing dependencies and enabling timely decision-making across teams.
- Lead Agile practices, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and build domain and technical understanding to support effective delivery and influence.

- Proven experience in a Product Management role in a tech business
- Worked in a fast-paced environment where youβve had to think on your feet and bring people together to problem solve
- Led a full-stack team or led delivery coordination across multiple teams
- Evidence of customer centric thinking through insights, data and experimentation
- Knowledge and experience of working with dynamic systems and APIs, both internal and external
- Knowledge and experience of working with Agile frameworks, writing user stories, setting sprint goals and collaborating with teams on acceptance criteria
- Analytical thinking and decision making, able to weigh up conflicting priorities and make the right decision using a balance of qual and quant data inputs
- Applied AI knowledge that you can leverage as part of this scope
- Experience in travel/rail industry or a marketplace would be beneficial
