About the Role
Trility Consulting is seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Engineer to support a cybersecurity program transition to a new Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP). This hands-on engineering role involves implementing security tool integrations and ensuring operational readiness across on-prem and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- →Deploy, configure, and integrate security tooling across cybersecurity sub-workstreams
- →Execute configuration updates to redirect logs, telemetry, and security data feeds to the new MSSP
- →Coordinate with the MSP on endpoint agent deployments and related technical dependencies
- →Validate integrations and ensure consistent security visibility across on-prem and cloud environments
- →Support development of operational SOPs, playbooks, and integration documentation
- →Identify integration risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- →Provide technical input during MSSP-related decision points
- →Collaborate with team members, client IT stakeholders, and partners
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or security operations
- ✓Hands-on experience with enterprise security tools (SIEM, EDR, logging platforms, etc.)
- ✓Experience supporting MSSP transitions or working with outsourced security operations
- ✓Strong understanding of log forwarding, telemetry routing, and security platform integrations
- ✓Experience working across hybrid environments (on-prem and cloud)
- ✓Ability to execute configuration changes in active production environments
- ✓Experience creating operational documentation and runbooks
- ✓Strong communication skills and ability to operate within a cross-functional team
