About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Acquisition Team at a leading U.S.-based life insurance company. This role involves developing and enhancing insurance application workflows, customer-facing components, and third-party data integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- βBuild and maintain full-stack solutions using Java (Spring Boot) and React.js
- βCreate and enhance automated build and deployment pipelines
- βWrite automated unit tests and participate in code reviews
- βTranslate business requirements into scalable tech solutions
- βTroubleshoot, document, and optimize existing components
- βCollaborate with QA, product, and marketing teams
- βContribute to Agile ceremonies and sprint planning
- βParticipate in out-of-hours support as needed
Requirements
- βBachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- β3+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, REST, SOAP, Microservices, GIT, JUnit, Mockito
- βStrong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- βExperience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
- βHands-on experience working with relational databases
- βFamiliarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- βKnowledge of HTML5 & CSS3
- βFamiliarity with RESTful APIs
- βJavaScript Unit Testing (e.g., Jest)
