JOB SUMMARY As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer on the Platform Team, you will drive the scalability and performance of a high-traffic fintech ecosystem. You will focus on designing robust backend services while contributing to frontend initiatives, ensuring the platform remains resilient as it supports a massive user base. The ideal candidate is a seasoned engineer with deep expertise in Node.js and TypeScript, a product-oriented mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where engineering excellence and modern tooling are prioritized. RESPONSIBILITIES - Build and maintain scalable backend services to support a growing ecosystem of users. - Support platform strategy and long-term product maintenance. - Design and implement sophisticated software solutions that balance performance with maintainability. - Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and stakeholders to align on product goals. - Deploy and monitor applications and services utilizing modern cloud technologies. - Participate in rigorous code reviews and uphold engineering best practices. - Contribute to frontend initiatives and mobile-responsive features when required. - Improve engineering performance and developer experience through modern tooling and automated practices. QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB REQUIREMENTS - 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally within startup or fast-moving scale-up environments. - Strong backend development expertise using Node.js and TypeScript. - Solid proficiency in React for frontend development. - Proven experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB). - Deep understanding of software design principles, data structures, and architecture. - Hands-on experience building and maintaining scalable production applications with 100k+ users. - Experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure, including EKS, Lambda, and EKS. - Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform. - Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices is a plus. - Experience with React Native or exposure to native mobile development is highly preferred. - Advanced English communication skills and experience working in Agile environments. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex distributed systems.
