About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic software engineer to join our engineering team at Cairns Health. This role sits at the crossroads of conversational AI, radar technology, hardware integration, and LLMs, focusing on front-end and back-end development for web and mobile apps.
Key Responsibilities
- →Code daily to tackle challenges and drive our product to market
- →Develop a backend architecture to support our mobile health and wellness app
- →Design and develop mobile app features that serve our users
- →Optimize our mobile app for latency, concurrency, and uptime
- →Take a leading role in creating interactive, data-driven mobile and web apps
- →Enhance our backend to power front-end and device features
- →Collaborate with a team of accomplished engineers
- →Gain hands-on experience with embedded devices, front-end, back-end, AWS, and Kubernetes
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
- ✓3-5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer
- ✓Proficient in React and React Native for building responsive interfaces
- ✓Proficient in Java 11+ for server-side applications
- ✓Experience with RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes
- ✓Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka and MQTT
- ✓Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- ✓Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- ✓Positive, team player with excellent communication skills
