Project Manager (Enterprise PMO) at Trupanion1

The Project Manager is responsible for planning and delivering projects that achieve defined business objectives within agreed scope, time, cost, and quality parameters. The role is delivery-focused, operating within established governance and control frameworks. This role will report to the VP of the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO).  Responsibilities:  • Lead project governance (such as creating roadmaps, detailed planning, monitoring and transparency for key milestones), develop and maintain comprehensive project materials (such as reporting, presentations, requirements maps, success criteria)  • Plan, execute, and close projects in line with PMO standards  • Manage project scope, schedule, risks, issues, and dependencies, manage scope creep and change management  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and with other project teams to identify cross-dependencies and resolve roadblocks; results-oriented and ability to think strategically  • Ensure compliance with financial, governance, and SOX controls  • Support transition of deliverables into business-as-usual Qualifications:  • 3-5 years of Project Management experience  • PMI certification (PMP or equivalent) required.  • Strong organizational and project management skills with experience leading multiple projects with competing priorities in a calm and efficient manner.  • Self-starter with ability to build a strong rapport with resources across multiple functional areas.  • Proficiency with JIRA and formal project management methodologies  Skills:   • Experience delivering projects in a structured environment  • Strong organization, communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.  • Experience in insurance or regulated financial services  • Experience in project management tools, methodologies and best practices  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment  • Creative thinking and analytical approach to solving problems Compensation:  • The base pay range for this position is $105,000 - $115,000, on a full-time schedule.  • Along with base salary, Trupanion employees may be eligible for monthly bonuses.  • We want all employees to be invested in Trupanion’s success, so we grant Restricted Stock Units to all new team members. Our new hire grants vest over 4 years.
