About the Role
Trustly is seeking a high-energy Lead Product Manager, Consumer Card, to own the product strategy and delivery for their new open banking-powered consumer card. This role involves setting the direction for bringing Trustly's market-leading pay-by-bank capabilities directly to consumers via card.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead a cross-functional team to develop a new consumer payment option, from strategy to execution
- →Apply a deep understanding of consumer psychology and behavioral science to inform product decisions
- →Define product economics, balancing customer value with business objectives
- →Create key product metrics and promote hypothesis-driven experiments
- →Work with designers to create exceptional mobile-first user experiences
- →Collaborate with engineers to drive end-to-end feature development
- →Work with marketing, operations, risk and compliance to bring the product from concept to launch
- →Stay current with trends in payments and UX design
- →Use product frameworks to justify prioritization of key problem statements
- →Promote a writing culture with concise PRDs
- →Be an evangelist for product-led thinking
Requirements
- ✓6+ years of product management experience with consumer payment infrastructure providers
- ✓Deep understanding of the card issuance ecosystem
- ✓Experience navigating card product economics
- ✓Proven track record of building 0-1 financial products
- ✓Ability to protect the customer while meeting risk and compliance standards
- ✓Understanding of capabilities available to product developers on mobile & web platforms
- ✓Experience driving innovative thinking in a competitive and regulated space
- ✓Comfortable with ambiguity and complex business problems
- ✓Experience with product discovery frameworks
